A childhood mentor once told me that no matter where you go in life, never forget where you came from. I was born and raised in the beautiful caribbean island of Barbados, and spent the latter portion of my high school years in Grand Cayman. In the U.S, Miami FL is my hometown. These places have all contributed to who I am.

Two assistantships are available. We are looking for one full-time and one-part time research assistant to work on the Virtual Cell Testing Project. Positions begin immediately and can be extended through the 2011-2012 academic year.

Our grant proposal entitled: "A Multi- User Virtual Biology Environment for Discovery-Oriented Science Education" has been awarded by the NIH (SBIR Phase II). The award is valued at $369K for two years as part of a subcontract from the WoWiWe Instruction Co.
