Tariq M. King is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at North Dakota State University (NDSU), Fargo. Dr. King joined NDSU in August 2009 after graduating with his PhD in Computer Science from Florida International University, Miami FL. His research areas include software testing, autonomic computing, cloud computing, and model-driven development.

In Spring 2010, Dr. King founded the Software Testing Research Group (STRG) at NDSU to provide students with a collaborative environment for conducting research in software testing.
